Inspired by traditional Icelandic circular yoke sweaters, Telja is knit in the round from the bottom up. Short rows are worked on the back of the sweater to bring the front of collar lower than the back. The stranded yoke is worked, and then the slightly scooped neckline is finished with an applied i-cord.

Ok, last Telja post for a while - just have to share this one: Colleen @postscriptlove's version of Telja, knit in Lett Lopi in Rough Sea - I love this color combo so much! So beautifully photographed in a meadow - more pictures on Ravelry. #knit #knitting #knittersofinstagram #lopapeysa #lettlopi #instaknit #knitstagram #strikking #slowfashion #knitwear #icelandic #wool

Thanks so much Jenn for the opportunity to testing this beautiful sweater! One modification - I done body and sleeves a bit shorter, because I’m a short person.
