After seeing Katrins and Fraukes beautiful Birkis I needed one for myself. This has been my first steek project and it won’t be the last. Love it and it is sooo comfy.

Inspired by traditional Icelandic circular yoke sweaters, Telja is knit in the round from the bottom up. Short rows are worked on the back of the sweater to bring the front of collar lower than the back. The stranded yoke is worked, and then the slightly scooped neckline is finished with an applied i-cord.

Thanks so much Jenn for the opportunity to testing this beautiful sweater! One modification - I done body and sleeves a bit shorter, because I’m a short person.
