SECRET Fertilizer :) My 'fertilizing cocktail' consists of mixing 1/2 bottle of cheap beer, 1 tablespoon of Epson salts, and 2 tablespoons of fish emulsion in a watering can (1-2 gallons). I do this to ALL my vegetable, flowers, and indoor plants. You will definitely notice the difference in a few weeks! Don't waste too much money on the beer. Cheapest still works great -- plants aren't picky! | protractedgarden

Works for Me...
Homemade "Miracle Grow": Get a clean glass or plastic jar, put a little water in it. Add egg shells and coffee grounds until it's about 3/4 full. Top it off w/water and allow to sit in a cool, dark place for about a week, gently shaking once daily. Strain and use the liquid when ready to feed plants.
