Very cool plant hangers! I wouldn't use succulents, but you could try. You'd need really bright light. I would use a trailing plant like pothos or philodendron on the bottom, and include other plants on the hanger like pilea, african violet, hoya, etc. Or even put pinecones or other cute decor in the pots.
