I had a class last semester that had exit questions. I really liked using that because it helped us think about what we had just learned that day. I would like to use the paddles as a generic way to do exit questions that are already made and set up.

I think this is important for addressing students who have (or seem to have) short attention spans. In China, mental health issues are left undiagnosed for fear that you might "lose face". I have used some of these, but I think getting the student to be proactive helps the most.
