Bunad from Hedmark. My Great Great Grandparents (John and Kristianna Bjornseth) and G-G-G Grandparents (Ole and Annie Olson) were from Hedmark. Textiles, Scandinavian Folk Art, Art Textile, Folk Costume, People Of The World, World Cultures, Traditional Dresses, Norwegian Clothing, Folk Clothing

The bodice is shaped like a corset and it is different to most other bunad bodices. It is made in floral wool damask with leather bound basques and is laced in the front.

Husfliden Hamar  55 model  This woman national costume from Hedemarken were first prepared in 1935 by Hedmark county Handicrafts committee. Heir of national costume was found in FFL Dreier's "Girl from Hedemarken", from the late 1700s.  This national costume gives you the opportunity to choose between three different colors of the vest.
