The trio of architect Paul F. Shurtleff, interior designer Thad Hayes, and landscape specialist Douglas Reed joined forces to create this outbuilding for a home they designed in upstate New York. The exterior resembles traditional farmhouses in the area, with a fieldstone wall, barn doors, and a sloping shed roof. The interior, meanwhile, is filled with modern luxuries, including a pool, a gym, a spa, and a guest studio. The media room, shown here, is used for casual movie-screening evenings.
