A Missing Child is a side quest in Dragon Age: Origins. Kaitlyn needs help finding her missing brother, Bevin, in the undead-plagued Redcliffe Village. If the Warden speaks to Kaitlyn, who is sobbing inside the Redcliffe Village Chantry next to the chantry door, she will ask you to find him. You must complete this before the nighttime battle.

In Origins, if the Warden paid Kaitlyn for her grandfather's sword enough to travel to Denerim, she uses the small fortune to open a foundry, becoming wealthy and respected. She then meets Bann Teagan at court by chance, and they marry months later. This can only happen if the Warden pays before the Attack at Nightfall quest.

Teagan Guerrin is the Bann of Rainesfere. He is Arl Eamon Guerrin's younger brother as well as the brother of Rowan, the deceased queen of Ferelden and a member of the Guerrin family. This makes him uncle to King Cailan Theirin. (He's "sort of" Alistair's uncle in DA2 because Rowan wasn't Alistair's mother.)
